Family Night – Epiphany Party

Epiphany is the celebration of the three wise men that visited Jesus. It is always celebrated 12 days after Christmas on Jan 6th. Epiphany is also when some Churches remember when Jesus was Baptized, when he was about 30, and started to teach people about God. Epiphany means ‘revelation’ and both the visit of the Wise Men and his Baptism are important times when Jesus was ‘revealed’ to be very important. Epiphany Eve (also known as Twelfth Night) marks the end of the traditional Christmas celebrations and is the time when you were meant to take Christmas decorations down. This year’s Epiphany party will be celebrated on the evening of Jan 5th, starting at 5:30pm in church with a Christmas lessons in carols ending with the arrival of the 3 kings and then an epiphany party following in the Gym.

All Souls Memorial Service

November is the month the Church asks us to remember, in a special way, those who have died believing in Jesus Christ. This service is a Candle Light memorial Service where we remember all parishioners who have entered eternal life over the past year. During the service family members and friends bring up a candle that is placed near the altar as a memorial, while their loved one’s name is read. The family/friend takes the candle home after the service. Please call the Parish Office if you would like a loved one remembered.
